a louboutin girl at heart!

I think this is my dream shoe closet. I'm a HUGE fan of platform pumps and it looks like Christian Louboutin's designs were made just for my taste

Come together!

Because

[cotton + candy dress, thrift store belt, h&m necklace, kirstie's jacket, h&m purse]

Found this dress at the little boutique next to work. Probably the only stylish boutique in Northridge, but I try to support its existence because the owner is super sweet and loves to talk about clothes. It's called State of Dress and it's so hard not to buy everything before & after my shifts next door.

Winter Break has been insanely relaxing. I go to work [sometimes] but other than that, mostly just stay holed up at the BF's place watching TV & doing nothing. Also been going out with the friends a bunch, but my new hermit status is largely because I don't want to be tempted to spend money.

That's because the bf and I are going to Vegas next weekend to see:

Yes. That's right. I cannot wait. It was probably the best Christmas present I've gotten since this beautiful white Mac machine  I'm typing on right now.

As if that wasn't grand enough, I'm going to Vegas AGAIN the weekend after for one of my best friend's birthdays. Did I mention we're staying at The Venetian free of charge? Yup!

So I'm trying to save $$ so I can go shopping in Vegas and for Vegas :)

One more thing. I don't give a fuck about new years resolutions. I feel like they give you this false sense of accomplishment and one should ALWAYS try to be healthier, nicer, more productive, motivated, etc. My 2 cents. But other than that, Happy New Year bloggers! :)

Polyvore

Reasons why I haven't been updating my blog:
-Holidays
-Finals
-Forgetfulness?

Oh well, cuz here I go again!
Anyways, I knew about Polyvore for a while, but just now decided to play with it. I am in love.
I usually dress myself based around 1 item I really want to wear and then style accordingly.

In this case, I found the dress and the rest is history..

MORE. TO. COME!

soul shakedown partyyyy

Ahhhh, Patron!

Pics from Thanksgiving weekend. Went out for my ex-roomie/Big Sis Jazzy J's birthday at some place called The Room in Hollywood. It was a neat place and we had a siiiiick cabana table. Ended up leaving early with the girls I came with to meet our friend Zach (Hollywood club promoter extraordinaire) at Hyde.
[Note: NOT dressed for clubbing by any means. I hate clubs most of the time anyway.]
This particular time, some drunk ass douchebag at Zach's table would not stop harassing me.. then when I rejected him he proceeded to insult me and call me every name his pea-sized intoxicated brain could come up with. It was funny when Zach yanked him by the collar and demanded he apologize.

Anyway, don't mind the messy closet in the first two pics. I'm working on a better picture taking background.

killer finds.

Went on a Salvation Army/ Goodwill shopping trip. Spent $20 at each place. On my way to the register at Salvation Army, an old man from Bangladesh stopped me to tell me his life story. And mentioned the "powers of the Almighty" oh about 55 times. He reminded me of a cross between Ghandi and a homeless man who talks to himself. Not sure what to make of the situation but I entertained his company for a good 10 minutes. Moral of the Story>> You never know what you'll find when thrifting.

Killer Finds= Black Express skirt, White Studded top (love the accents & dramatic shoulders), Navy Blue blazer, Grey Blazer (needs to be tailored I think), Purple top & Black waist belt (love them together!), Brown waist belt & Aldo shoes (verrry good condition!)
